My Birthday

Hey Everybody,

I'm really sorry that I've been so behind with posting...I've been really busy at my new school and whenever I have free periods the internet isn't working...It's a bit of a pain...But I still really like the school, so that's good.

I'm going to make alot of shorter posts instead of a long one because I don't have time to write a long one write now...because any time now i'll be leaving to go see...Harry Potter!!! I'm so excited! I'm going with my two new foreign friends. They're both 18 and just came to my town to teach english...one girl is from BC and her name is Brittany, and the other is Robin and she's from England. I think she said Kent. Thats where Orlando Bloom is from, thats pretty excting...hmmm, I wonder if she's ever seen him...

Anyways, last week it was my birthday...I can't believe I'm 18 already...I don't really feel 18, and I definetly still don't look 18, unfortunately...

My Birthday was actually really good. Of course, it wasn't the same as being at home and spending it with all oof you, but it was way better than I expected it to be. I expected myself to be incredibly homesick all day...I was a bit homesick, but not too much...

During the school day it was a pretty normal day...I called my dad and my brother, which was nice...and then my teacher took me out for lunch, which was awsome...And then at night I came home and my host family told me that they were having a big dinner for me. We went to a restaurant and alot of family and friends came...and I got lots of presents (which people really didn't need to do), but it was exciting...and the cheif of police came, and he brought me a big ice cream cake, which was really good...and it was alot of fun...oh, and my mom called me on my cell at dinner which was a really nice surprise.

One weird thing that they do for birthdays is that they put one extra candle on the cake then the age you're turning...so I had 19 candles on the cake, and had 2 cakes (because my host mom had bought one too)...so I had alot of candles to blow out, lol...

Anyways, sorry, I have to go in a few minutes to catch the bus for Harry Potter!!! Ahhh...lol...but I'll post again very very soon...and I have alot of pictures to post too...
