snow white...
Hey everybody,I had my drama performance yesterday…It went sooo well. I think that I spoke a bit too fast, but I don’t think that it mattered. We got 3rd place, out of 10 schools. Mr. William (the teacher running it, so the director) was really happy. Some of the other plays were quite elaborate, but I couldn’t understand what a lot of them were saying (even though they were all in English).
It was part of this really big “Academic Day” at a really big school that is kind of close to ours. There were so many people there, and there were competitions in almost every subject area. My friend Kran (from Australia) got 2nd in the English competition, and my friend Pu got 2nd in the singing competition. She was really good. She sang “My heart will go on” and “Hero” by Mariah Carey. The girl that won was even better though. She sang “My Heart will go on” and another Celine Dion song. There were also all of these little shops set up everywhere that we looked at during lunch.
Oh, and guess who was there, Intriguing boy. He saw our performance…and I wasn’t even embarrassed to be jumping around in front of all those people. I do hope that they didn’t take any pictures of my jumping around. Intriguing boy and some other guys were sitting in the front taking pictures throughout the performance. I’m going to try to see if he’ll send me the pictures and then I’ll post them
And then we took the school bus back (its actually the schools, and its painted fun colours). We got back just after the bell had rang for the last class to end.
Oh, and I got a picture of Intriguing boy (who’s nickname is Neil – pronounced Niew…I asked Kran what his name was). I took the picture on the bus and had to take a picture of a bunch of people so it wasn’t obvious…and the bus was bumpy, so its not a very good picture, but I tried. I’ll post it after. Oh, and I found out that Neiw is a year younger than me (Kran’s age), but I’m ok with that, lol…(Laura, I’m definetly beating you since you’re slow getting your assignment done). I just thought that I would let you all know about that…
I’ll also post the pictures from the performance after this.
Wow, I can’t believe that my day went so well…especially after it started out so badly. I woke up and one of my eyelids was all swollen. It was really weird, because I don’t have any allergies other than milk, and milk just gives me stomach cramps. And it shouldn’t have been anything that I ate because it didn’t show up after dinner. The swelling went down throughout the day (and I think the ibprofen that I took helped too). Oh, and Kran was 15 minutes early to pick me up today, so I wasn’t ready. But the day seemed to turn around once I got to school.
